Lost

This week i got bored, so i decided to start watching Lost, started at episode 1 season 1 with virgin media on demand i wateched the entire first season, now getting ready to watch the second seasons on dvd. The seasons are adictive and leave you with loads of un answered questions, last night i was so griped by the climax to season one i stayed up to 3am wathcing it.

Ilkeston Fair is coming…

Thats right, just a few more days to wait, then the rides will be open. The fair starts this wednesday, tommorow that is, and finishes on saturday. Im going to be going on Booster, Space roller and every other big ride that comes. Will be posting a video blog soon with footage.

Fifty Years In Space

I went to a Lecture last night in-titled 50 years in space,  the speaker was Professor Pillinger, or The Beagle Man, yes the man who was in charge of the Beagle. The lecture talked about everything about space travel. Pillinger was supposed to give the lecture in 2003 but here’s what happened: ”Professor Pillinger was scheduled to give the Flamsteed Lecture entitled Beagle 2 – Searching for Life of Mars in 2003 but was called away at the last minute on a ‘mission related emergency’. The 50th anniversary of the launch of the first Sputnik, is on  October 4 this year.”

The Sims 2, But is it all good???

After a long break from the sims 2 i think im going back onto it, with new exp packs and loads of new items, the game is getting bigger, but is it getting better? After instaling the new exp packs the game runs slower, and things that took around 1 second to load now take about 7 seconds. Im well within the minimum spec, having a 2.5ghz prosessor. Personly im considering uninstalling all the exp packs and retearning to the core game, i felt much happier with it, Im going to go with the exp packs for a while and let you know what happens, please give feedback.
